Scooter LaForge
After receiving his painting degree at the University of Arizona, Scooter LaForge, became legendary in the art scene in San Francisco.  Having built up an impressive painting career in San Francisco he packed up his bags and moved to New York City.  Scooter lives and paints in his art studio in Manhattan's famous East Village.  He has shown at numerous galleries around the Big Apple, such at Exit Art, Wooster Projects, and White Columns to name a few.  Recently, he has been selected to attend a fellowship at World Famous Cooper Union beginning this summer.  Also his paintings will be shown at Scope Art Fair, Hamptons.
Scooter is seeking Gallery representation in other markets.  His work primarily deals with ironies and heartaches and pains that are attached with living in a big city.  Categorized as neo-popism or urban-outsider art, Scooter's work is always evolving. One show is entirely different than the next.
Because of the strong story telling aspect,  richness of color, and daring nature of his work ,  Antoine Proulx commissioned Scooter with the task of creating 12 original paintings that would provide a backdrop to the company's first national Ad campaign in Interior Design Magazine.
